What would you say is unique and/or challenging about the current Miami SEO industry?
“Relevant, useful and high-quality content production, publishing and distribution is the most important challenge for the current SEO industry.
“Content is the strategic component of an SEO campaign. Content is the component that will showcase business authority in front of customers and prospects and to Google’s search algorithm. Authority is the strategic objective in an SEO project and campaign, especially if the client is a business-to-business (B2B) organization. To earn this authority, businesses must produce, publish and distribute content about their products, services and customer needs that educate and inspire customers and prospects. This content must be in an article format – well-written articles are the type of content that help the business earn the authority needed to position their brands, products and services in search engines.
“The articles must be written by the subject matter expert, or by a writer who interviews the subject matter expert. In the case of small business, the business owner is often the subject matter expert, but in most cases, the business owner is not a writer. The articles will then have to be written by an expert writer who can interview the business owner and who can do research and study the products, services and customer needs.
“This content will help create the authority needed to position a business’s products and services on search engines, social networks, email marketing, apps and digital media. But the production, publishing and distribution of these articles is the most important challenge in the current and future SEO industry.
“SEO is about educating and inspiring customers and prospects with knowledge and expertise about the products, services and how they satisfy customer and prospect needs. We like to call it ‘educational marketing’.”
How does your agency stand out in a crowded market with many identical firms offering “nearshore” services?
“We stand out by doing SEO consulting and strategy at the beginning of every project and campaign. We plan and design the strategy before execution. Strategy first.”
“Our digital agency four years old. Since march 2018, we have been getting an average of six qualified leads per month, four years of executing a permanent article marketing campaign. During this time, we have produced, published and distributed 400 articles. It took us four years and 400 articles to begin to position our agency on the first page of Google search results. We are just beginning, and article marketing is the masterpiece of our strategy.
“We had a digital agency in Caracas, Venezuela from 2002 until 2015 when we decided to close the agency due to the economic, political and social situation in Venezuela. We opened the new digital agency in Miami in 2015, and named it MSalesLeads. We knew from our previous experience in that we needed to design and execute an article marketing campaign to position our new agency on the first page of Google search results and social networks – not just in Miami but in other U.S. cities.
“Our agency is getting an average of 3,000 Google search impressions per day on the first six pages of Google search results and an average of 150 Google search impressions per day on the first page of search results. This is our qualified lead generation tool. We have also obtained several Google snippets in search.
“From March 2018 until now, we have been obtaining an average of six qualified leads per month from the first page of Google organic search results, thanks to the article marketing campaign. It’s pure inbound marketing. We also get qualified leads to a lesser extent from LinkedIn and email marketing.
“We built trust and authority through our article marketing campaign. It took us four years to achieve this important digital marketing goal, but we are happy and proud, and we are seeing the results. We are just beginning.”
What is the best advice you ever received in business as an entrepreneur?
- Think innovatively. Come up with a good idea about new or existing products and services that satisfy customers’ needs and solve customer problems.
- Design and execute a strategic business and marketing plan.
- Keep low fixed costs. Be as effective and efficient as you can. Outsource non-critical functions.
- Do not get into debt!
- Be strong when managing difficulties and setbacks.
- Be passionate about how you help others with your products and services.
- Grow organically. Invest profits in the business.
What do you think is the most important quality that makes an SEO agency truly great?
- Consult and strategize to execute a well-thought-out marketing plan.
- Provide high-quality customer services.
- Under-promise and over-deliver. Deliver your services with the highest professionalism possible, providing training, education and coaching every step of the way.

Any predictions for the future of SEO?
“Google’s mission is to organize all the world’s information and knowledge; therefore, the future of SEO is to produce, publish and distribute high quality content that is relevant and useful to searchers and readers, related to the business’s products and services and addressing the consumer’s problems and needs.”
What is your reaction when you hear that “SEO is dying”?
“SEO is just beginning. A very low percentage of the world’s information and knowledge has been digitalized and optimized for search engines; therefore, SEO is just beginning. Search algorithms are still in their infancy. Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning will accelerate this high-quality SEO process.”
What do you think is the most important contributor to keeping clients happy?
“Results are the most important contributor of keeping clients happy. SEO projects and campaigns must deliver business results to the clients.”
