Grammarly
Grammarly is an American-based technology company that offers a digital writing assistance tool based on artificial intelligence and natural language processing. Grammarly sometimes automatically detects potential grammar, spelling, punctuation, word choice, tone and style mistakes in writing, following standard linguistic prescription, but it also makes mistakes. Algorithms flag potential issues in the text and suggest context-specific corrections for grammar, spelling, wordiness, style, punctuation, and plagiarism, but many of the features are for premium users only. It is available as a web or desktop editor, or as a browser extension for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, or as an app for both iOS and Android. Premium service is available for a monthly or an annual payment.
